Adoption Fees

At The Pink Paw Project Rescue, every adoption is more than just a match—it’s a second chance. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of vital veterinary care, food, shelter, and the love each animal receives while waiting for their forever home. By choosing to adopt, you’re not only giving a dog or cat a better life—you’re also making space for us to rescue another in need.

We believe in full transparency, and we work hard to keep our fees reasonable while ensuring each animal is healthy, vaccinated, and ready for their new family.

Meet Gunner! 🐾 Gunner is an 8-year-old purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever with a heart as sweet as his name suggests. This lovable “old man” came to us after his most recent adopters were no longer able to keep him. Despite his age, Gunner is full of life and still has plenty of pep in his step! He does great being free-roam in the house while you're away at work—no crate needed. Gunner knows basic commands like sit and shake, and he's always eager to please. His playful spirit would make him a great companion for another friendly dog, especially one who can help match his energy in short spurts of play. Gunner is truly the sweetest dog ever—gentle, affectionate, and always ready to give love. He has a calm, loving presence that makes everyone he meets fall for him instantly. He is recovering great after having his mass removed from his leg and is eager to get back to running next to the four-wheeler, and walks around the neighborhood. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and incredibly sweet companion to join your family, Gunner may be the perfect fit.

Meet Bailey! Bailey is back in rescue due to some aggression towards cats. Bailey is a 1 year old, 30-pound Lab/hound mix with a heart of gold. She’s a HIGH ENERGY happy-go-lucky girl who loves everyone she meets. While we were told she can be nervous around other dogs, we haven’t seen any signs of that in our care. As always, we recommend slow and safe introductions with any existing pets in the home. Bailey is a total love bug. She thrives on affection and will happily snuggle up with you after a good play session and she’s always up for any adventure! Whether it’s hiking, skiing, or simply playing fetch in the yard (she LOVES fetch). Bailey is ready to be your partner in fun. She can be a bit vocal in her kennel, but she does great when given free roam. Bailey would do best in a home that can offer her both companionship and activity. Ready to add this sweet, spirited girl to your life? Bailey is waiting to meet you!

Meet Koozie! Koozie is a sweet and spirited pup who’s believed to be a Shepherd mix with something a little smaller in the blend. When she first meets new people, she can be a bit vocal — barking and unsure at first. But don’t let that fool you! Once she’s in a comfortable space, her true personality shines. Inside the home, Koozie is an absolute sweetheart who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her people. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with an older child, and she’s also done great around younger kids. However, Koozie is not a fan of cats and will need a cat-free home. When it comes to other dogs, Koozie does best with slow introductions. She may need a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s full of playful energy and ready to romp. This loving girl is looking for a forever home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and snuggled to her heart’s content. No cats. Slow dog intros. But endless cuddles.

Meet Delilah! This spunky 2-year-old is bursting with energy and love. When Delilah first arrived, she was anxious and unsure of the world around her—her kennel was her safe space. But with time, patience, and the care of a wonderful foster family, she’s come a long way. Delilah is fully potty trained, kennel trained (she especially loves it when her kennel has a blanket over it), and knows basic commands. She’s a smart girl who would benefit from a puppy class to keep building her confidence and skills. She has lived with young children, cats, and other dogs. While she does well with all of them, she can be a little grumbly at times, so slow, thoughtful introductions are best. She’s looking for a family who understands that trust takes time—and who’s ready to receive all the love she has to give in return (which is a lot!). Delilah loves to run, squeaky toys are her absolute favorite, and once the day winds down, she’s an expert cuddler. She’s a truly special girl who’s just waiting for the right people to help her shine.

Meet Lily! Lily is a sweet 2–3-year-old Border Collie mix who came to us from our friends at Mat-Su Shelter, along with her mother, Jasmine. These two lovely girls were part of a neglect case and were seized from their previous owners. Despite everything she’s been through, Lily has shown nothing but a deep desire for love and affection. She’s a bit skittish, which is completely understandable given her limited socialization. But with time, patience, and kindness, Lily is already starting to come out of her shell — and we know she’ll blossom into an incredible companion. Knowing her background, we expected Lily (and Jasmine) to be fearful and untrusting. But to our surprise, both arrived just ready for love. They seemed to understand that they were finally safe. To help Lily feel more comfortable, we brought her to a professional groomer to remove painful mats from her coat. She was so brave during the process, and now she’s mat-free, feeling great, and absolutely thriving! Lily is still working on basic training and manners, but her foster has had nothing but glowing, five-star reviews for this resilient girl. With a little guidance and a lot of love, she’s going to make someone a truly special best friend.

Meet Chloe! Chloe came to us from the Mat-Su Animal Shelter after being found as a stray. While her exact age is unknown, she’s a young adult with a gentle spirit and a lot of love to give. The shelter’s assistant manager spent about a month getting to know Chloe before we welcomed her into our rescue. Once she arrived in a quieter, more peaceful environment, her true personality began to shine! Chloe is still a bit shy, but she absolutely loves getting gentle pets and relaxing in her favorite cat hammock, where she enjoys watching the household go about its day. She has been spending her time in foster care with another rescue kitty, Yoli, and the two have become fast friends. Because of this bond, we believe Chloe would thrive in a home with another feline companion. As always, we recommend slow and proper introductions when bringing a new cat into a home with resident pets. Chloe is fully litter box trained and ready for her forever home!

Meet Yoli! Yoli came to us alongside Chloe, after also being found as a stray. While his exact age is unknown, he’s believed to be a young adult with a calm and loving nature. When Yoli first arrived, we expected he might need a significant amount of time to warm up to people. But to our surprise, he welcomed affection almost immediately — soaking up pets and showing just how ready he is for love. Yoli has become great friends with Chloe during their time in rescue. While they don’t need to be adopted together, Yoli would do best in a home with another friendly feline companion to help him feel safe and secure. This beautiful boy spent too long out on the streets, and now he’s ready for a fresh start — one filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Yoli is also fully litter box trained and patiently waiting for his forever home.
